Major General (ret.) Kurt F. Neubauer (pictured left) changed my life. The most inspirational leader in my career who taught me to Lead Without Fear and become the Mission's Voice!

It is possible for you to change a life, to inspire others to lead. In my case, while stationed at the Pentagon, Maj Gen Neubauer ignited the leader within me. I had a strong desire to speak, to show heart, to demonstrate my passion for leadership. He taught me to bring the mission to life, to value courage, and as he often said, Lead Without Fear!

Beyond Our Logo

The helmet represents the hero that resides within us all. Through courageous acts, it rises to greet the challenges in our lives. Centered, the helmet represents the heart of the leader, the virtue of courage.

The wings represent years of military leadership experience. The feathers are embedded with information, knowledge and experiences required to soar. The short feathers remind us to remain students, be aware of our shortcomings and learn from failures. Close to the helmet, the short feathers anchor us with patience, humility and a growth mindset.

The blue represents the sky; for there is no limit to our potential unless we create it. Blue reminds us to look toward the heavens, honor those who have come before us and maintain the highest standards. Lastly, blue emphasizes self-care, to take a knee when needed and view vulnerability as a strength.

Beneath Lead Without Fear™ are Mindset, Strategy, Results. A leader must display, and instill in others, the right mindset and strategy to achieve desired results.

Lead Without Fear™ is not about eliminating fear. It's about understanding its origin and learning to master it. Fear is a seed, a source for self-awareness. Watered with courageous acts, it becomes our beacon for growth.
